A top price for Arthur Rackham
This artwork by Arthur Rackham achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in September last year. In the 19th Century and British Impressionist Art auction, the work Andromeda sold for GBP 88,500.00 (€ 100,721.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. This high result makes Andromeda the most expensive artwork by Arthur Rackham that we have observed at auctions so far.
