The work Centurian by Arthur Dooley was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in April 2008. It achieved a price of GBP 812.50 (€ 1,035.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Dooley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figure of Christ 82cm (32 5/16in) high, which sold at auction in April last year for GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,736.71).

Die Arbeit Centurian von Arthur Dooley wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 812,50 (€ 1.035,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur Dooley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figure of Christ 82cm (32 5/16in) high beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.736,71) versteigert wurde.
