Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait of the Artist's Son by Arthur Bowen Davies was auctioned at Christies in New York in June 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,318.29). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Bowen Davies achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heart's Hansel in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 67,000.00 (€ 45,615.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait of the Artist's Son von Arthur Bowen Davies kam im Juni 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.318,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Bowen Davies erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Heart's Hansel im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 67.000,00 (€ 45.615,47).
