In the 19th Century American & Western Art auction, the work Aulla and Chateau, Spain: A Pair of Works changed hands for USD 2,016.00 (€ 1,761.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Bowen Davies achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heart's Hansel in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 67,000.00 (€ 45,615.47).
