Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still life with corn in a vase and books by Arnout Colnot was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2005. The price achieved of EUR 1,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Arnout Colnot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Path through a mountainous landscape in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 8,962.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still life with corn in a vase and books von Arnout Colnot wurde im Januar 2005 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arnout Colnot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Path through a mountainous landscape im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.962,50.
