In January 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS AT THE KUNSTFABRIEK, which included the work A winterlandscape with a house along a waterway by Arnout Colnot. The »bidding war« ended at NLG 8,812.50 (€ 3,856.18), 47% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arnout Colnot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Path through a mountainous landscape, which sold at auction in May 2002 for EUR 8,962.50.

Im Januar 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS AT THE KUNSTFABRIEK durch, in der auch die Arbeit A winterlandscape with a house along a waterway von Arnout Colnot zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von NLG 8.812,50 (€ 3.856,18) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Arnout Colnot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Path through a mountainous landscape beobachtet, die im Mai 2002 für EUR 8.962,50 versteigert wurde.
