Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Arne Kavli could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm auction, the work Forest pond with farmhouses changed hands for SEK 40,000.00 (€ 4,684.08) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arne Kavli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Summer by the lake, which sold at auction in April this year for USD 17,850.00 (€ 16,168.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arne Kavli konnte im April 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm wechselte die Arbeit Forest pond with farmhouses für SEK 40.000,00 (€ 4.684,08) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Arne Kavli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Summer by the lake beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für USD 17.850,00 (€ 16.168,48) versteigert wurde.
