Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Norwegian a Fjord In Summer by Arne Kavli was sold in the European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,214.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Arne Kavli have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April this year the work Summer by the lake was auctioned for USD 17,850.00 (€ 16,168.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Norwegian a Fjord In Summer von Arne Kavli wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.214,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Arne Kavli konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April diesen Jahres die Arbeit Summer by the lake für USD 17.850,00 (€ 16.168,48) versteigert.
