This artwork by Arne Kavli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in April this year. In the Home & InteriorsCollections auction, the work On the docks sold for USD 5,737.50 (€ 5,197.01) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arne Kavli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Summer by the lake, which sold at auction in April this year for USD 17,850.00 (€ 16,168.48).

In der Auktion Home & InteriorsCollections wurde die Arbeit On the docks für USD 5.737,50 (€ 5.197,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Arne Kavli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Summer by the lake beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für USD 17.850,00 (€ 16.168,48) versteigert wurde.
