It achieved a price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,570.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Armen Eloyan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Day by Day, 2010, which sold at auction in June 2010 for CHF 26,400.00 (€ 19,934.78).

Die Arbeit Comic Figures (099) von Armen Eloyan kam im Oktober 2016 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.570,15) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Für andere Arbeiten von Armen Eloyan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Day by Day, 2010 beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für CHF 26.400,00 (€ 19.934,78) versteigert wurde.
