Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Italian chair 32.7 x 21.6cm (12 7/8 x 8 1/2in) with arched top by Armand Point was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,181.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armand Point achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Sirène in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 161,247.26).

Die Arbeit The Italian chair 32.7 x 21.6cm (12 7/8 x 8 1/2in) with arched top von Armand Point kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.181,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Armand Point erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Sirène im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 161.247,26).
