Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art, which included the work French the Goddess Isis by Armand Point. The price achieved of USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,606.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armand Point achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Sirène in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 161,247.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French the Goddess Isis von Armand Point zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.606,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Armand Point erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Sirène im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 161.247,26).
