Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2018 Artcurial in Paris held the auction A Tribute to Symbolism, which included the work Chat Allongé by Armand Point. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 650.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armand Point achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Sirène in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 161,247.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2018 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion A Tribute to Symbolism durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chat Allongé von Armand Point zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 650,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Armand Point erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Sirène im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 161.247,26).
