Auction result well in line with expectations
The work French La Dame A La Licorne by Armand Point was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2007. The price achieved of GBP 46,100.00 (€ 64,551.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Armand Point - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Sirène, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 137,500.00 (€ 161,247.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit French La Dame A La Licorne von Armand Point kam im November 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 46.100,00 (€ 64.551,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Armand Point mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Sirène beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für GBP 137.500,00 (€ 161.247,26) versteigert wurde.
