Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work A Bacchanale playing the Pan pipes; and Portrait of a lady, bust-length by Armand Point for GBP 720.00 (€ 1,062.15). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armand Point achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Sirène in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 161,247.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Bacchanale playing the Pan pipes; and Portrait of a lady, bust-length von Armand Point für GBP 720,00 (€ 1.062,15) erwerben.
