Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Aristarkh Vasilyevich Lentulov could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art auction, the work Three Costume Designs For Ilya Muromets changed hands for GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,687.19) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aristarkh Vasilyevich Lentulov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Children With Parasols in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 2,098,500.00 (€ 2,621,975.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Aristarkh Vasilyevich Lentulov konnte im November 2016 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art wechselte die Arbeit Three Costume Designs For Ilya Muromets für GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.687,19) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00.
