Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Faces Of A Generation by Aristarkh Vasilyevich Lentulov was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2011. The price achieved of USD 1,482,500.00 (€ 1,101,984.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,400,000.00 – 1,600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aristarkh Vasilyevich Lentulov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Children With Parasols, which sold at auction in June 2014 for GBP 2,098,500.00 (€ 2,621,975.35).
