Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Faces Of A Generation by Aristarkh Vasilyevich Lentulov was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2011. The price achieved of USD 1,482,500.00 (€ 1,101,984.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,400,000.00 – 1,600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aristarkh Vasilyevich Lentulov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Children With Parasols, which sold at auction in June 2014 for GBP 2,098,500.00 (€ 2,621,975.35).

Die Arbeit Faces Of A Generation von Aristarkh Vasilyevich Lentulov kam im November 2011 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.482.500,00 (€ 1.101.984,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.400.000,00 – 1.600.000,00 angegeben worden.
