This artwork by Arifien Neif achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work Perfect Soulmate sold for HKD 132,000.00 (€ 12,800.84) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 55,000.00. Admittedly, works by Arifien Neif have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Procession in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 51,476.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arifien Neif erzielte im November 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Perfect Soulmate für HKD 132.000,00 (€ 12.800,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 55.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arifien Neif auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Procession im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 51.476,46).
