Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Anwar Jalal Shemza was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2013. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,376.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anwar Jalal Shemza achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work City Wall in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 231,250.00 (€ 199,749.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Anwar Jalal Shemza kam im Juni 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.376,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anwar Jalal Shemza erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit City Wall im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 231.250,00 (€ 199.749,50).
