Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Capriccio With A Bridge Over A River With Figures And A Fisherman by Antonio Zucchi was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,999.20) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Zucchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of James Adam (1732-1794), three-quarter-length, in an embroidered waistcoat and fur-lined blue coat, holding a pair of compasses, and a scroll, leaning on a capital, in an interior in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 374,500.00 (€ 472,362.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Capriccio With A Bridge Over A River With Figures And A Fisherman von Antonio Zucchi kam im Juli 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of James Adam (1732-1794), three-quarter-length, in an embroidered waistcoat and fur-lined blue coat, holding a pair of compasses, and a scroll, leaning on a capital, in an interior im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 374.500,00 (€ 472.362,25).
