In February 2024 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master & British Drawings, which included the work Bathers by a pool before a classical ruin by Antonio Zucchi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,048.00 (€ 5,285.79), 51% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Zucchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of James Adam (1732-1794), three-quarter-length, in an embroidered waistcoat and fur-lined blue coat, holding a pair of compasses, and a scroll, leaning on a capital, in an interior in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 374,500.00 (€ 472,362.25).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of James Adam (1732-1794), three-quarter-length, in an embroidered waistcoat and fur-lined blue coat, holding a pair of compasses, and a scroll, leaning on a capital, in an interior im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 374.500,00 (€ 472.362,25).
