Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work A Singer With Two Musicians by Antonio Zucchi for GBP 562.00 (€ 763.17). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Zucchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of James Adam (1732-1794), three-quarter-length, in an embroidered waistcoat and fur-lined blue coat, holding a pair of compasses, and a scroll, leaning on a capital, in an interior in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 374,500.00 (€ 472,362.25).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of James Adam (1732-1794), three-quarter-length, in an embroidered waistcoat and fur-lined blue coat, holding a pair of compasses, and a scroll, leaning on a capital, in an interior im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 374.500,00 (€ 472.362,25).
