Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2014 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work Claire by Antonio Santin. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 21,777.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Santin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vox Populi in May last year with an auction result of USD 277,200.00 (€ 258,317.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2014 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch die Arbeit Claire von Antonio Santin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 21.777,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Santin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vox Populi im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 277.200,00 (€ 258.317,03).
