It achieved a price of EUR 2,585.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 29 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Zucchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of James Adam (1732-1794), three-quarter-length, in an embroidered waistcoat and fur-lined blue coat, holding a pair of compasses, and a scroll, leaning on a capital, in an interior in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 374,500.00 (€ 472,362.25).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.585,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 29 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Zucchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of James Adam (1732-1794), three-quarter-length, in an embroidered waistcoat and fur-lined blue coat, holding a pair of compasses, and a scroll, leaning on a capital, in an interior im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 374.500,00 (€ 472.362,25).
