Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A landscape with a bridge and classical ruins in the distance, a family fishing by a stream in the foreground by Antonio Zucchi was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2011. The price achieved of USD 5,250.00 (€ 3,827.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Zucchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of James Adam (1732-1794), three-quarter-length, in an embroidered waistcoat and fur-lined blue coat, holding a pair of compasses, and a scroll, leaning on a capital, in an interior in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 374,500.00 (€ 472,362.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A landscape with a bridge and classical ruins in the distance, a family fishing by a stream in the foreground von Antonio Zucchi kam im Januar 2011 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of James Adam (1732-1794), three-quarter-length, in an embroidered waistcoat and fur-lined blue coat, holding a pair of compasses, and a scroll, leaning on a capital, in an interior im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 374.500,00 (€ 472.362,25).
