The »bidding war« ended at USD 13,750.00 (€ 9,670.16), 53% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Bueno - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Concerto, which sold at auction in November 2008 for EUR 23,400.00.
