Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work From 1001 Arabian nights; the story of The return of Kanmakan in Bagdad by Anton Pieck. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anton Pieck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Winter Fun On The Ice, which sold at auction in October 2008 for EUR 13,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit From 1001 Arabian nights; the story of The return of Kanmakan in Bagdad von Anton Pieck zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Anton Pieck mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Winter Fun On The Ice beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für EUR 13.750,00 versteigert wurde.
