The work Untitled (Cili Cili Series) by Anton Huang was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,942.52), 63% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Anton Huang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 59,760.29).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Cili Cili Series) von Anton Huang wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 8.942,52) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anton Huang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 59.760,29).
