Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Song Of Ramayana by Anton Huang was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Singapore in April 2007. It changed hands for a price of SGD 9,600.00 (€ 4,624.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of SGD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anton Huang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 59,760.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Song Of Ramayana von Anton Huang wurde im April 2007 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Singapur versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von SGD 9.600,00 (€ 4.624,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von SGD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anton Huang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 59.760,29).
