In November 2014 VAN HAM held the auction Alte Kunst, which included the work Porträt eines Mädchens mit rotem Tuch by Anton Ebert. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,064.00 38% above the estimate. Admittedly, works by Anton Ebert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Czech Spring In The Woods in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 27,000.00 (€ 19,765.74).
Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im November 2014 führte VAN HAM die Auktion Alte Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit Porträt eines Mädchens mit rotem Tuch von Anton Ebert zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.064,00 und damit 38% über dem Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anton Ebert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Czech Spring In The Woods im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.000,00 (€ 19.765,74).
