The work Head of A Man by Anthony Whishaw was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in March 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 320.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 360.00 (€ 524.30). Admittedly, works by Anthony Whishaw have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue Still Life in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,045.26).
