Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Crucifixion by Anthony Whishaw was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2004. The price achieved of GBP 1,015.75 (€ 1,524.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anthony Whishaw - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blue Still Life, which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,045.26).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.015,75 (€ 1.524,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Anthony Whishaw mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blue Still Life beobachtet, die im Juli 2014 für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.045,26) versteigert wurde.
