In the Christie's Interiors - Style & Spirit auction, the work Coloured composition changed hands for GBP 475.00 (€ 567.16) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anthony Staynes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woman with a cup, which sold at auction in February 2012 for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,492.53).
