In the Christie's Interiors - Style & Spirit auction, the work Abstract composition changed hands for GBP 500.00 (€ 597.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anthony Staynes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woman with a cup, which sold at auction in February 2012 for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,492.53).
