Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2012 Christies in London held the auction Prints & Multiples Including an Important Collection by Henry Moore, which included the work Between You and I by Anthony McCall. The price achieved of GBP 562.50 (€ 705.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Anthony McCall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „THROES (650, 700, 750 SECONDS)“. in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 5,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Prints & Multiples Including an Important Collection by Henry Moore durch, in der auch die Arbeit Between You and I von Anthony McCall zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 562,50 (€ 705,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anthony McCall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „THROES (650, 700, 750 SECONDS)“. im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.000,00.
