Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2020 Christies in New York held the auction First Open, which included the work Lake by Anthony Goicolea. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,759.89). Admittedly, works by Anthony Goicolea have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stigmata in August 2020 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 29,323.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lake von Anthony Goicolea zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.759,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anthony Goicolea auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Stigmata im August 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 29.323,06).
