Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work An extensive view of London (illustrated); and View at Devil's Glen, Co. Wicklow by Anthony Devis was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2011. It achieved a price of GBP 937.50 (€ 1,060.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthony Devis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A pastoral river landscape with an elegant couple conversing in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 13,113.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit An extensive view of London (illustrated); and View at Devil's Glen, Co. Wicklow von Anthony Devis kam im März 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 937,50 (€ 1.060,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anthony Devis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A pastoral river landscape with an elegant couple conversing im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 13.113,28).
