Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Antanas Sutkus could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "A Morning Bus, Vilnius,1972" changed hands for SEK 6,500.00 (€ 615.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antanas Sutkus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work J. P. Sartre In Lithuania in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 7,250.00 (€ 8,462.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antanas Sutkus konnte im November 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "A Morning Bus, Vilnius,1972" für SEK 6.500,00 (€ 615,85) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antanas Sutkus erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit J. P. Sartre In Lithuania im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.250,00 (€ 8.462,05).
