However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Annie French - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work My Love Is Like A Red Red Rose, which sold at auction in August 2007 for GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,287.00).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.548,29) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Annie French mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit My Love Is Like A Red Red Rose beobachtet, die im August 2007 für GBP 14.400,00 (€ 21.287,00) versteigert wurde.
