Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Legend by Annie French was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in May 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,483.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Annie French achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Love Is Like A Red Red Rose in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,287.00).

Die Arbeit The Legend von Annie French kam im Mai 2021 bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.483,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Annie French erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Love Is Like A Red Red Rose im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.400,00 (€ 21.287,00).
