This artwork by Annibale Carracci achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2019. In the Old Master Paintings and Sculpture auction, the work The Ecstasy of Saint Francis sold for USD 112,500.00 (€ 100,851.64) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Annibale Carracci achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Madonna And Child With Saint Lucy And The Young Saint John The Baptist in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 6,063,500.00 (€ 5,438,604.36).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Annibale Carracci erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
