In the Old Master Drawings auction, the work Study of a monk sold for USD 21,420.00 (€ 17,651.42) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Annibale Carracci achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Madonna And Child With Saint Lucy And The Young Saint John The Baptist in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 6,063,500.00 (€ 5,438,604.36).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Annibale Carracci erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Madonna And Child With Saint Lucy And The Young Saint John The Baptist im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.063.500,00 (€ 5.438.604,36).
