Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 728,750.00 (€ 813,173.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Annibale Carracci have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Madonna And Child With Saint Lucy And The Young Saint John The Baptist in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 6,063,500.00 (€ 5,438,604.36).
