Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Landscape With Bathers And Divers by Annibale Carracci was sold in the Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection auction at Sothebys in London in July 2016. It changed hands for a price of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 66,837.17) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Annibale Carracci achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Madonna And Child With Saint Lucy And The Young Saint John The Baptist in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 6,063,500.00 (€ 5,438,604.36).

Die Arbeit A Landscape With Bathers And Divers von Annibale Carracci wurde im Juli 2016 in der Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 66.837,17) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00.
