Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams in London held the auction Blazing a TrailModern British Women, which included the work The White Begonia by Anne Redpath. The price achieved of GBP 17,920.00 (€ 17,920.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anne Redpath achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With White Tulips in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 216,000.00 (€ 316,251.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Blazing a TrailModern British Women durch, in der auch die Arbeit The White Begonia von Anne Redpath zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.920,00 (€ 17.920,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anne Redpath erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With White Tulips im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 216.000,00 (€ 316.251,83).
