Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Design for a Tapestry by Anne Redpath was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,408.00 (€ 1,616.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anne Redpath achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With White Tulips in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 216,000.00 (€ 316,251.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Design for a Tapestry von Anne Redpath kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.408,00 (€ 1.616,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anne Redpath erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With White Tulips im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 216.000,00 (€ 316.251,83).
