Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work Violets by Anne Redpath. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,680.00 (€ 8,818.77) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anne Redpath achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With White Tulips in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 216,000.00 (€ 316,251.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Scottish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Violets von Anne Redpath zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.680,00 (€ 8.818,77) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anne Redpath erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With White Tulips im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 216.000,00 (€ 316.251,83).
