Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hill Village by Anne Redpath was sold in the Scottish Art auction at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. It achieved a price of GBP 17,920.00 (€ 20,577.14), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anne Redpath achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With White Tulips in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 216,000.00 (€ 316,251.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hill Village von Anne Redpath wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Scottish Art bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 17.920,00 (€ 20.577,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anne Redpath erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With White Tulips im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 216.000,00 (€ 316.251,83).
