In March this year Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Adjovi (My Mom) by Annan Affotey. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,430.00 (€ 13,003.83), 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Annan Affotey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Daizy in March last year with an auction result of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 59,754.87).

Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Adjovi (My Mom) von Annan Affotey zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.430,00 (€ 13.003,83) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Annan Affotey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Daizy im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 59.754,87).
