Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,626.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anna Barriball - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Door, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,966.66).
